Jordan Bone

Position: PG From: Tennessee Class/YOB: Junior
Height: 6’3 Weight: 180 Wingspan: 6’3

Strengths:

  • Excellent pull-up from the mid-range. Elevates well and stops on a dime from 15-18 feet
  • Very heady passer that takes care of the ball
  • Pushes the pace well in transition. Has a nice tempo when he handles the ball
  • Plays tough defense, despite lacking elite size
  • Displays good leadership qualities and has become a reliable floor general who can run a team

Weaknesses:

  • Doesn’t have great physicals. Average wingspan and height. Lacks superior strength
  • Starting shooting more threes this year. Has decent form but he is more of a mid-range weapon at this point
  • Creativity off the dribble is improving but not a strength. Usually does best pulling up off of pick-and-rolls or scoring on the break. When forced to beat a defender one-on-one, he is less efficient
  • I wonder what his upside will be given his play style. Could become a solid rotation guard, but he doesn’t have a ton of tools to work with compared to some other guards in the class
