Injuries took away most of Killian Tillie’s junior season, in a year he was expected to take another big step. Even in limited time, he is still worthy of a pick if he decides to enter.
Position: PF | From: Gonzaga | Class/YOB: Junior |
Height: 6’10 | Weight: 220 | Wingspan: N/A |
Strengths:
- Good perimeter shooter who can step into shots from distance
- Quick and active rebounder on both ends. Makes up for a lack of strength with high-level effort
- Agility in the open court will be a big boost
- Reliable defender who regularly blocks shots and gets deflections. Timing is impressive. Quickness should eventually allow for more guarding on the wings
- Efficient scorer on the inside with very soft touch from close range
- Smart interior passer
Weaknesses:
- Has the body and strength of a wing but isn’t an adept ball-handler
- Lateral quickness is not where it should be. Angles on hedges can be a problem, especially against quick guards
- Injuries have restricted him and his frame is not one that projects to put on a lot of weight
- Can be knocked off balance when making post moves
