Strengths:
- Skilled passer who makes pinpoint deliveries to start the break and find other bigs on the inside
- Has an easy release from three that produces results. Effective pick-and-pop player
- Good feet when making moves in the post. Stays under control when he’s scoring off or rolls
- Plus shot blocker. Despite lacking athleticism, he has tremendous timing that allows him to deter shot attempts
- Solid ball-handler for a 7-footer
Weaknesses:
- ACL injuries are very big red flags. Durability questions will always be there
- Below-the-rim athlete that relies on smarts to make plays. Can have problems on the inside trying to put up shots against athleticism
- Has missed out on a year, now likely two, of development that his peers were able to get
- Can be too heavy footed guarding the ball, leading to a blow by
